Description

Each member of our family is so different, like individual components of a symphony. But, like a symphony, each part is important to the overall structure and sound of the piece. We all work together to make a beautiful sound...our family. Just as the Lord knit us together in the womb, He is now knitting us together as a family, for His glory, outside the womb.

YMCA

We had a successful family trip to the YMCA to hang out with my family for a few days.

The kids loved seeing their cousins.  Finn was thrilled to have another boy to play with!
There were plenty of activities to keep us busy.
Mini-Golf

Crafts.
Pony Rides.
Swimming.  Flying airplanes.
and the Playground.
We even had a mini-birthday celebration for the, then, soon to be 4 year old.  Complete with a Mario costume from grandma and grandpa!
Grandma and Grandpa also gave each kid a bag full of goodies and headlamps for the night.  Cadence and Finn wore theirs to bed.
It was a lovely time to be in the mountains with cherished people.

School Room Preparations

Welcome to our homeschool room!  Decorating is underway!

10th Anniversary

Yesterday was our 10th Anniversary!  So lovely!  The Lord really has blessed me by giving me such a loving, thoughtful and Godly husband.  I love how much the Lord has taught and changed me through our marriage to be more like Him.  I pray that each an every year the Lord's glory will be reflected more and more through our marriage.  I get the privilege of learning what it means to be the bride of Christ by being Brad's bride, and that is a pretty good example of God's love.
Brad was so generous and thoughtful with his gifts.  He bought me this beautiful diamond necklace!  It's very sparkly in the sunlight.  The material for the 10th anniversary is tin, so he got me some delicious herbal tea in a fun little tin.  He also got me some Bath and Body works stuff in my favorite scent.  What a guy!
We started off our joyous marriage birthday by ordering breakfast from Lucille's and eating it at home.  Next, we headed off to the Larimer County Fair!
 Wee-hee! (As Aria says)
The Petting Zoo
There was fishing for the kids and Finn caught a fish! (It was catch and release)
 Cadence bounced away
Atticus hung out with me
 What up?
Cadence and Finn loved the bouncy slide
Aria did not want to leave the little kid area
We ingested plenty of fair food.  Yum!
Brad loves a good Turkey leg!
Atticus is in a Turkey leg colma
It was a fun fair and fun day!  I think we may make it an annual family outing.
We ended our anniversary day with pizza and a movie.  It was a great 10th year celebration with our little family!  The Lord has given me an abundance of joy in these last 10 years and I know there is plenty more to come!
