Each member of our family is so different, like individual components of a symphony. But, like a symphony, each part is important to the overall structure and sound of the piece. We all work together to make a beautiful sound...our family. Just as the Lord knit us together in the womb, He is now knitting us together as a family, for His glory, outside the womb.

It's cold!

Why am I wearing all these clothes?
Finn loved playing in the snow!  He especially loved throwing snow at us.
 Brother/sister snow hugs!
Such a sweet brother giving his little sister a snow hug, or as Aria calls it, an "ug".
How many snow balls can we hold?
The snow is a much better place to make an angel than the dirt.  The other week, Brad took the kids on a walk and they were making "dirt angels" in the sand volleyball courts.  Harder to get all that sand out than snow.
Aria needed a little assistance standing back up.  It's hard to move in all that bulky clothing, especially when you have little limbs.
I think she likes the snow!
Our kind-hearted neighbor saw Brad working hard to shovel our driveway and came over to help with his snow blower.  Man, that sure does get the job done quickly!
 Such a good daddy!

My little snow bunnies, minus one (Cadence was at preschool).

  1. Oh, that looks FUN!
Dirt angels? I BET that was hard to clean up!
Aria is so cute. I want to give her an ugg!

  2. So sweet, and many more snow days to come!
