Quickie

I have this dream to stay in as many historic hotels as I can.  So far, we've stayed in the Hotel Boulderado (which I won as a prize from doing an MS Walk a few years ago) and last week we stayed a night at The Stanley.  It was fun!  We didn't see any ghosts, but we did get shocked every time we pushed the elevator button.  It got so bad that we just started taking the stairs.  The last time B pushed the button it shocked him so bad that he dropped his soda.  Ooops!  The nice thing about staying in the mountains is that every room has a mountain view.  We walked around the hotel a little bit and looked at pictures of some of the famous people who have stayed at the Stanley.  It's a very nice hotel,  They even have a channel that just plays "The Shining".  It was fun driving in to the hotel because the grounds were covered with elk!  I loved it!  It was the perfect little getaway.
