Description

Each member of our family is so different, like individual components of a symphony. But, like a symphony, each part is important to the overall structure and sound of the piece. We all work together to make a beautiful sound...our family. Just as the Lord knit us together in the womb, He is now knitting us together as a family, for His glory, outside the womb.

Delayed Train

Last week, Brad took Cadence and Finn to see "Thomas and Friends Live" at the Budweiser Events Center.  They had a blast, including Brad!
They both wore their Thomas shirts.  Finn has Thomas on his and Cadence has Lady on hers.

As soon as Finn got home he started jumping up and down telling me all about the show.  He gave me a full recap.  He was so excited!  Cadence, of course, filled in and corrected his missing facts.
Well, Baby Bird Watch 2011 is over.  The birds left the nest.  Here are the last pictures we took of them in the nest, all grown up.

Now, we are just left with this poopy mess.  They didn't even clean up before they moved.  Oh well.  I was thankful to have them for the short time that they were here, though, I do miss their little chirps.  It's amazing how fast they grow.  Thankfully, our babies don't grow that fast.

  1. Beautiful. Wonderful. Exciting! Thank you so much for making the arrangements for me to take those beautiful children to see the trains! Perhaps our bird friends will come back next year for another go at "Maston Bird Watch" after all the mother bird must be quite proud to have her reproduction so carefully documented! I love you!

  2. I guess the birds got too big for that muddy little nest! I had a fat baby robin on the doorstep this morning. She chirped there for a while and then was gone. She was probably confused. Maybe some more eggs shall be laid in your nest!
Finn's face is precious in the pictures and how cute that Cadence filled in the incorrect facts. LOVE them!
