Description

Each member of our family is so different, like individual components of a symphony. But, like a symphony, each part is important to the overall structure and sound of the piece. We all work together to make a beautiful sound...our family. Just as the Lord knit us together in the womb, He is now knitting us together as a family, for His glory, outside the womb.

Horsetooth Tubing

We went tubing with our friends, David and Bethany, yesterday on Horsetooth Reservoir.  It was a lot of fun!  Aria and I didn't go tubing, but Cadence, Finn and Brad did.  Brad also tried kneeboarding, which he was a natural at.  Unfortunately, he forgot to put sunscreen on his torso, so he's a bit red.

Cadence was the first to try tubing and she remained relatively calm, for her.  I was proud of her for trying.
Finn was next and he went quite a bit faster and longer than Cadence.  He was very brave and really liked it.
The kids really enjoyed just swimming in the reservoir with their life vests on.  They were pretending that Brad was a sea turtle.  Aria and I went in for a short dip, just enough to cool off.  She wasn't a huge fan of the life jacket and being in that water.  She was pretty content and happy on the boat, though.
After a full morning of playing out on the boat in the blazing sun, we were ready to head home.  Finn actually fell asleep on the boat while Brad was holding him on the way back to the dock.  I'm looking forward to going out again, when I'm not pregnant, so that I can participate in the water sports.  We are blessed to have such wonderful friends to spend a Saturday with.
