Description

Each member of our family is so different, like individual components of a symphony. But, like a symphony, each part is important to the overall structure and sound of the piece. We all work together to make a beautiful sound...our family. Just as the Lord knit us together in the womb, He is now knitting us together as a family, for His glory, outside the womb.

Farm Class

Cadence capped off her 4 week farm class with a pony ride!

She learned that she needs to brush the pony first, to get all of the stickers out of its hair, before putting the saddle on so that you don't hurt the horse.  She felt very bad about the prospect of pushing a sticker into their body and hurting them.
Her teacher said that whoever raised their hand first, when she asked, got to ride the pony first.  Cadence was very eager and got to be the first pony rider!
Brad led the pony around and even let it trot.  Cadence said it was bumpy when the horse was running, but she didn't fall off.  She was very proud.
Finn gets to start his farm class next week, but his is only 3 weeks and I don't think he gets a pony ride.  Still, he is already excited about seeing all the animals and collecting eggs.

  1. Oh, Cadence is a natural equestrian! I want to ride a pony, but Jeff says I'm too big! Finn is funny!
