Palm Sunday

Today is the beginning of Holy Week, Palm Sunday.  Last year, we started a tradition of doing family devotions every day during Holy Week.  

I found this idea of making a playdough mountain and tomb with pipe cleaner people to use throughout the week in order to let the kids act out the different parts of the story.  I was going to let the kids help me paint this after it had baked and cooled, but I went ahead and did it myself last night so that it would be ready to use today and we wouldn't have to wait for the paint to dry.
B has bagpipe band on Sunday afternoons and then church, so we usually don't see him until after bedtime.  He surprised us, though, and came home in between band practice and church to eat dinner with us and lead the devotional for today.  So wonderful!
